Passport to the World: A BBYO Travel Experience

Online Registration

We encourage you to apply for a Passport trip online using b-linked, BBYO's event management system.

By using b-linked, you will be able to update your files and submit payments whenever it is most convenient for you. You will also be able to see and communicate with teens who are registered for the same program as you. Take advantage of it!

STEP #1: Create an account and login via b-linked

If you have never used b-linked before, you will need to first create an account. The process is very simple. You will be asked to provide some basic personal information, including parental contact information, and then you will be asked to verify your email address by clicking on a link sent to your email.

If you already have an account, there is no need to create a new one. If you are not sure if you have one, please contact us at 1-800-698-1002 or call your regional BBYO office to find out. If you have an account but have forgotten the password, you can have it emailed to you by clicking on Forgot Password? on the login screen.

STEP #2: Choose the trip you want

After you have logged in (or created a new account), click on "My Events" on the left side of the screen. Then scroll down to "Upcoming International Events" and select the Passport to Israel program of your choice. You may need to click "Next" a few times to view all the options.

As part of the registration process, you will be asked for credit card information to cover the $250 trip deposit. If you would prefer to submit your payment information to us by phone, or to pay by check, please see the section: Paper Application

STEP #3: Submit the supplemental trip forms

Once you have filled out the b-linked information, your spot will be officially held for you. However, there is still some paperwork to submit by no later than April 1, 2009.

NOTE: The Parent Release Form and the Teen Release Form can be submitted electronically as part of b-linked. Please refer to the welcome email that you will receive as soon as your application is processed for links to those forms.

  • Supplemental Application
To be completed in addition to the primary online application on b-linked.
  • Health History - For Parents
  • Health History - For Physicians
  • Parent Release and Teen Release
Applies if you have not already digitially signed the online version as part of the b-linked registration.
  • Home Hospitality Permission
Applies only to participants registered for an Israel Journey, Trek Israel, or Euro-Israel Journey program who plan to arrange for a host family/friends stay in Israel during the "Home Hospitality Weekend."
  • Passport photocopy
Please send a photocopy of the inside front page of the participant's passport. Note: Participants traveling to Israel are required to have a passport valid through January 2010.

All paper forms should be sent to the Passport offices by either...

Fax: 1.202.315.3908
Mail: BBYO Passport / 5185 MacArthur Blvd., #640 / Washington, DC 20016
Scan/Email: info@passport2theworld.org

Special note about registering for connected programs or an extension program

If you are using b-linked to apply and wish to register for two connected core programs (e.g. Euro-Quest: Western + Israel Journey), you must register for the combination program with that title, not the individual core programs.

If you wish to register for an Israel program with a corresponding extension program (e.g. ILSI + Kibbutz Immersion & Gadna), you must register for each program independently.

Special note to parents about using b-linked

One of the purposes of using b-linked for registration is to involve teens in planning for their own summer. b-linked allows teens to communicate with other participants with whom they will be traveling. If you are creating a new b-linked account for your teen, please use his or her email address -- not your own. Do not worry. The system will require you to submit information for at least one parent, and you will be copied on all trip-related correspondence going forward.
