Join us in the heart of the the Iberian Peninsula, journeying from Barcelona to the Island of Majorca, and then throughout Spain's Andalusia Region and on to Madrid. Euro-Quest Spain is a two-week teen travel experience that covers world-famous sites like Al Hambra and the Generalife Gardens in Granada, the Mezquita in Cordoba, the Rock of Gibraltar, and the Alcázar fortress of Toledo.
Along the way, we also include off-the-beaten-path experiences – watching a flamenco show in Barcelona, luxuriating in hammam baths in Granada, hiking in the Sierra-Nevada Mountains of southern Spain, and tour an authentic bull-fighting ring in Seville.
As an experience for Jewish teens, we learn about a unique period in history when Jews, Christians, and Muslims coexisted harmoniously during the Golden Age of Spain; and then trace the tragedy that followed during the Spanish Inquisition. Our time in Spain includes a unique Shabbat with the Jewish community of Gibraltar as well as a Shabbat on the island of Majorca – a place where family identity is still defined by the Conversos legacy.
Euro-Quest Spain is a well-balanced combination of must-see touring, eye-opening Jewish experiences, and a unique opportunity to forge friendships with fellow teens while exploring the best of Spain.
