The Application Process

The process and timeline for March of the Living registration is somewhat different from other BBYO Passport summer programs.

All participants are encouraged to take out a travel insurance policy accordingly (see below).

Terms of Acceptance

Acceptance to the program is conditioned upon the receipt of a full application including a physical examination of the applicant that demonstrates his/her physical and mental fitness and ability to participate in all aspects of the program. Receipt of deposit and application forms does not guarantee acceptance to the program. BBYO reserves the right to deny acceptance according to its own discretion. BBYO reserves the right to consolidate and/or cancel specific programs and/or trip dates according to its own discretion. Please note that March of the Living reserves the right to adjust the price of the program by up to 5% based on exchange rate and airline fuel fee fluctuation. Participants reserve the right to cancel and receive a full refund in the event of a price increase if they so wish.

Scholarship Opportunities

In keeping with BBYO Passport's mission to share the experience of Israel with as many Jewish teens as possible, the March of the Living - National Teen Delegation Scholarship is available for participation in MOTL 2012. Funds are available according to need, up to $2,000. Deadline to apply: December 12, 2011

Travel Insurance

We encourage all BBYO Passport participants to purchase travelers insurance in advance of the program. Travel insurance is valuable for situations such as cancellations due to personal/family illness, cancellation of connecting flight due to weather delays, medical insurance coverage for pre-existing conditions, etc. Please note that in some cases, certain benefits are available only if insurance is purchased within 15 days of paying the trip deposit. So, it is important to plan ahead. Learn more.
