Welcome to BBYO Passport — the leading provider of travel programs for Jewish teens. Join us for a summer of new experiences, new friendships and a new way of looking at the world. Passport trips combine elements of active touring, community service, cross-cultural interactions and meaningful Jewish experiences. The program embraces pluralistic Jewish values and is designed for anyone with a spirit for adventure and a desire to experience the full color of the world.

BBYO Passport experiences include all meals, accommodations, touring activities, and medical insurance covering non pre-existing conditions. All programs to Europe, Africa and Israel include a round trip flight from New York City as part of the core tuition. BBYO Passport trips are staffed by a combination of licensed professionals and emerging young adult leaders – typically age 23+. Our teen/staff ratio is typically no more than nine-to-one. Finally, most groups range in size from 20 to 40 teens, and participants are assigned to age appropriate groups wherever possible.

Why is BBYO Passport an exceptional choice for your next summer?

  • Worldwide Destinations

BBYO Passport programs span five continents and connect teens with countries as diverse as Israel, Italy, Costa Rica, England, France, Bulgaria, Poland, Spain, Gibralter, Holland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Slovenia, South Africa and the Western USA. Each country has its own unique characteristics, and we encourage teens to consider trips that include travel to multiple countries, or even multiple continents, as part of a full summer experience with BBYO Passport.
  • A Summer Program Where Teens and Parents Can Agree

Parents know that Passport experiences will be enriching and meaningful. Teens know they have signed on for the adventure of a lifetime. It's the best of both worlds.
  • Balanced Travel Experiences

Although every program is different, they all share the same core elements – active touring, cross-cultural interactions, and meaningful experiences with fellow Jewish teens of all backgrounds. Most programs also include a community service component. Each day is eye-opening and full of fresh new experiences. Although each trip shares the same values, some trips have a particular focus on community service, outdoors experiences, or enrichment learning.
  • Jewish Teens of All Backgrounds

All BBYO Passport trips embrace pluralistic Jewish values and are designed for any Jewish teen with a spirit for adventure and a desire to experience the full color of the world. The program is truly pluralistic in outlook – which means that whether you come from a traditional Jewish background or a secular background, everyone feels welcome on our trips.
  • Open to Members and Non-Members

Passport programs are open to BBYO members and non-members alike. Typical trips are comprised of more non-members than members, which means that no one feels left out.
  • Specialized Staff Teams

Passport programs are staffed by a highly selective group of licensed guides, community professionals, informal educators and emerging leaders. Many of our staff return each summer and bring a passion for leadership, mentoring, and creating inspirational travel experiences.
  • Traveling with Teens from Around the World

BBYO Passport trips draw teens from across North America and even around the world. Virtually all 50 United States and most Canadian provinces are represented in the program. Passport trips also draw many Jewish teens from Europe, Israel, and South America for a uniquely enriching cross-cultural travel community.
  • Chart Your Own Course

BBYO makes it easier than ever for teens to experience worldwide travel the way they want it. Travel experiences range from two weeks to six weeks with a convenient schedule of program start dates every Tuesday from mid-June to late-July. Many of our Israel trips provide a 7-day extension option for an even fuller experience. Finally, many of our programs are modular -- which means that two individual programs can be linked together for maximum summer globe-trotting travel.
